New Page 1

This route runs through some of northern Spain's national parks and nature reserves, visiting innumerable spots rich in beauty and a historic past.

The route includes the following Paradores:

Seu D' Urgell: First day

There are forests, rivers, mountains, astounding landscapes and great nature beauty spots waiting for you on this trip. Discover Santa María d'Urgell and the Diocese Museum at Seu. Also remember to stop by Canonges street with its arcades and shops. Segre Olympic Park in Seu itself is a place to play sports and have fun with canoeing and rafting. These facilities were built to host the 1992 Olympic Games and have remained open and active ever since. Cadí-Moixero Nature Reserve offers incredibly beautiful spots to discover the natural heritage of the area.

Vielha: Second day

Uncover the beauty of the Pyrenees en route from Seu to Vielha. The Romanesque Trail is recommended in the Arán Valley for exploring places such as Bossòst, Era Mair de Diu dera Purificación, Salardú - where Sant Andrèu church is located - and Arties where Santa María church stands. The Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurice National Park is so beautiful and majestic that it holds countless wonders. The National Park offers immense natural beauty year-round. Don't forget to stop at the Parador Spa - a place to rest and relax on your journey.

Bielsa: Third day

If you have ever imagined a place where nature reaches her zenith, where you feel this planet is a truly magical place to live, you can stop dreaming now! Enjoy the surrounding beauty at the Parador de Bielsa - at the gateway to Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. The National Park has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, offering visitors unforgettable moments, colours, aromas and landscapes through all four seasons to treasure forever. The Anthropology Museum in Bielsa and the nearby town of Ainsa - with its Plaza Mayor, castle and Santa María church - are also worth a visit.
