Parador - La Granja
The new Parador de La Granja is living proof of the rich architectural legacy of the Royal Site. It is composed of two buildings. On the one hand, the hotel is located in the Casa de los Infantes, constructed in the 18th century by Charles III to house Princes Gabriel and Antonio. On the other hand, the Cuartel General de la Guardia de Corps houses a modern Conference and Convention Center, situated just 55 minutes away from Madrid.
This exclusive setting has 16 meeting halls of different capacities, reaching capacities of more than 600 people. In addition, it is equipped with a full set of state-of-the-art technical and audiovisual devices.
It is worth emphasizing the monumental and natural setting in which it is to be found, just 11 km. from Segovia, a World Heritage City in the heart of the Guadarrama Mountains.

Specialities and traditional dishes
In the restaurant it is possible to sample the typical judiones de la Granja (large beans), and roasted lamb or suckling pig cooked in a wood-fired oven. For dessert, ponche de yema (egg yolk liquor sponge cake) and marzipan or chocolate crumbs.
Restaurant with their own name: Puerta de la Reina.
Sheltered behind the majestic door that gives it its name is the Restaurante Puerta de la Reina where we can peacefully and elegantly taste an authentic and traditional cuisine, but with the nuances of modernity provided by its young and professional staff.
There are the roasts that, slowly cooked in their oven, are served tender and crunchy according to the norms of Castilian cuisine, the judiones (large beans), the delicious trout with firm meat, the marzipan and egg yolk liquor cake or the famous raspberries. All this expertly combined with an exquisite cellar replete with the appropriate wines that creates quite an experience for the senses. In addition, in summer you can enjoy the terrace, with a less formal atmosphere and menu, but with a special charm.
